24th Annual Seahouses Competition 2012 This year's Championships were held on 18th November at the Seahouses Social Club. Congratulation to our very first Kata and Kumite Squad members who took travelled to Seahouses to take part at this years competition. Well done Lewis Keen, Owen McTaff Owen Rendell and Libby Rendell who competed in Kata and Kumite events . They all showed great determination, spirit, and etiquette during the day and were a credit to themselves and Killingworth Kaizen Karate Club. It was another fantastic day with an excellent standard of Karate from every competitor. Well done to all competitors from other clubs who competed to a very high standard during the day. This local competition has been running for 24 years and is an ideal opportunity for new students to gain experience for competing in larger KUGB events. The competition is limited to under 15yrs . It has been a great spring board for many students who have gone on to represent club, region and country in national and international competitions .
