Kaizen Karate club is a traditional Shotokan Karate Club based in Killingworth, Ashington and Gateshead offering students quality tuition. Lessons are available to all abilities and age groups (4yrs+) with no upper age limit for adults.  We also have regular adult only classes.

 

Our Karate Club was established in 2012. Instruction is provided by senior Kanzen Karate England black belts all of which are DBS/CRB checked and affiliated to Kanzen Karate Ltd.

 

Sensei Keith Burns (6th Dan) is the clubs Chief Instructor with over 42 years teaching experience. The clubs also has two additional instructors who support Sensei Keith, these being Sensei John Murphy (4th Dan) and  Sensei Julie Murphy (3rd Dan)

 

Kaizen Karate Club stresses the importance of true Karate spirit to all our students and the emphasis is always placed on the development of self-discipline, improving self-esteem and fitnes levels. 

For those of you who have the competitive edge, we regularly attend Karate competitions, regionally and nationally.
